The Returning Rapids Project seeks to document the recovery of the Colorado River in Cataract Canyon, upper Glen Canyon, and along the San Juan – areas that were once inundated by a full (and now receding) Lake Powell Reservoir.

Your donation will help bring together researchers, scientists, river runners, and journalists to study these changes and share the story of the Colorado and San Juan Rivers as they recover from Glen Canyon Dam.

The Returning Rapids Project is under the fiscal management of the Glen Canyon Institute, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
